CS Viva Simulation by Leica Geosystems AG is a desktop-based emulator that replicates the Leica Viva CS field controller environment, enabling surveyors, trainers, and support teams to practice and demonstrate workflows without physical hardware. The simulator mirrors the controller’s interface, menus, and data management so users can learn navigation, set up jobs and coordinate systems, apply codelists and linework, and step through common GNSS and total station tasks such as topographic data collection, staking, and as-built checks. It provides a safe, repeatable space for onboarding, classroom instruction, procedure validation, and remote troubleshooting, helping reduce training time and minimize errors before going on site.
